The jacket also boasts a button fitted to the outer neck of the collar. which would originally allow for a camouflage-pattern hood to be fitted. with the additional two buttons on either epaulettes.
Also within the inside of the jacket is a pocket to the rear. large enough to stow essential items such as a rolled poncho. In addition to a 'tail' of DPM cloth intended to be brought up in-between the wearers legs. and fastened by the two buttons adjacent to the inside pocket.
